THANK YOU x 1000!
I started my journey with this in mind, "small victories lead you to your ultimate goal". The famous words of Jake.
936 . . . 978 . . . 996 . . . Then today I woke up like it was Christmas morning . . . 1,000 followers on Instagram! A nice little victory for Bash!
I think Instagram has become a visual diary allowing you to share your perspective to the entire world through the lens of your iphone. Not knowing who will like or be inspired by what I do, I try to post with authenticity and from my heart. And if I'm lucky, my snap shots are inspiring to those who are looking in. But like an open book, Instagram also makes you open to judgement. It easy to compare your photos and story with others. I just try to remind myself, I would never compare the pages of my diary with anyone else's so why should I do the same with Instagram?
It's about creative minds, dreamers and believers that inspire one another. Thank you to all of those who make space in their crowded feed to follow my journey.
SPOTTED BY TRENDY ON A BUDGET
Linda's got a talent. A few days ago at the Neatly Nested Birthday Bash, she spotted my black and gold outfit which I wore in a recent photoshoot! Perfect for her and typical of me, I proceeded to tell her where I got everything . . . Nordstrom Rack . . . Wrentham Outlets . . . Can you believe it? And before I knew it, she whipped out her camera and started snapping picks! Linda has the ability to see an outfit and find the look with won't break the piggy (or leave you with buyers remorse!) And not only does she always look super cute, she's a wonderful person to know and exudes a positive energy. And that stuff comes from within.

BASH STUDIO featured in THE BOSTON DAY BOOK!
When you go off on your own, the support of your family and friends is essential but there are countless challenges only other start-up entrepreneurs can relate to. Contributing writer for The Boston Day Book and the girl behind Pop & Circumstance, Becky Brackett, and I found ourselves sharing our own #creativeentrepreneur moment. I reached out to Becky to see if she wanted to collaborate with me on our Scotch Night at the W Hotel and before we even had a chance to meet, we were bouncing ideas back and forth while she was abroad. Her enthusiasm and generosity was a breathe of fresh air.
Like many of us in the early stages of making the "leap", Becky is currently juggling a full-time gig and her dream, Pop & Circumstance, a blog and online vintage shop. Whether you are straddling two jobs (her), or have fully committed to the road less traveled (me), you realize you are not alone. Becky and I were committed to experiencing this opportunity together and to helping one another. The result was a beautifully-styled Scotch Night and a support system.
I've always believed that there is a lot of incredible talent and wealth of knowledge that should be shared. So, I was humbled when Becky asked me to share my story with her and The Boston Day Book in hopes to inspire anyone thinking about making the most rewarding move. The online girls guide to Boston life by Laura Chassaigne and Natalie Chassaigne Kurtzman, not only shares the trendiest in our city, but the stories of tastemakers and their rewarding moments. Thank you for letting me share mine!

You will never know unless you give yourself the chance. To being brave and overwhelmingly grateful,
