the good stuff not on my resume

It’s nice to meet you.

more about

I grew up in Massachusetts and for as long as I can remember, I found joy in Making. As a young adult, I was pretty confident that the journey ahead would lead me to Design. While I could draw (and paint) for college portfolio requirements, those mediums were certainly not my natural talent. Instead, I shaped my portfolio to represent my passion for coming up with new ideas and figuring out how to use Design to bring them to life. I went on to study Communication Design at the School of Visual & Performing Arts at Syracuse University and minored in Marketing at Martin J. Whitman School of Management.

After a few rewarding agency roles, I started The Everyday Co. We up-cycled highly-curated dead-stock fabrics into handmade linen goods for a more simple, beautiful, and sustainable home. We gained national attention (Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, Remodelista), partnered with Food52 and West Elm, and our products found homes around the world. It was the product development, brand building, and entrepreneurship that I loved and miss.

My latest role as Head of Design, Physical Retail / Experiential for Wayfair’s Specialty Brands over the last three and a half years feels like a huge milestone yet the tip of the iceberg. Launching two brands and five stores into physical retail in a fraction that of our competitors, while overseeing brand creative for three (AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main) has surely been a career highlight. Building individual brand experiences as well as a robust and efficient signage system across three distinct brands, was quite a mountain I am certainly proud I climbed.

Today, I’m looking for my next journey–something more meaningful, perhaps more personally fulfilling. Whether it be a start-up, lifestyle, biotech/beauty/skin longevity, or fashion brand making a real difference, I’m excited to help shape its place in the market through authentically genuine, smart brand creative that really makes a lasting impression and a positive impact.

What continues to inspired me? architectural greats (Frank Gehry is my #1); furniture and fashion icons; Design Hotels and curated spaces; beauty biotech; and innovative ideas that inspire alternatives ways of living and blaze new paths in design. Really good soulful music moves me too.

When I’m not doing this work, I’m doing my most important role—raising two humans and working on being an honest parent and genuine partner. Like all good design, I’m a WIP (Work In Progress).

Thanks for being here - I’d love to hear from you. Please message me on LI or send me an email.
